The optimum DPI setting is Normal size.\n\nChrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari release new versions frequently and install updates automatically by default. Merative Cúram releases (V.R.M.F releases only) are generally tested on the latest version (for Chrome and Edge, stable releases only) of these browsers available at the start of the development cycle; if tested with no issues Merative will certify that version. The prerequisites advise the version that is certified at each new product release. If for any reason, Merative Cúram are unable to certify for that version, it may be necessary to revert back to a version that is previously fully certified. While Merative will support customers on newer versions of these browsers than the last certified version, they should understand that they have not been fully tested.\n\n#### Standard desktop browser support\n\nWhile every effort is made to ensure that internal case worker application pages use standard web technologies and formats that are compatible with all browsers, only the listed browsers are officially supported.\n\n#### Universal Access desktop browser support\n\nUniversal Access has been specifically developed for public facing applications so browser support has been extended in this area.\n\n* For information about browser support for the Universal Access Responsive Web Application, see the prerequisites and supported software in the [Universal Access Responsive Web Application documentation](/spm/pdf-documentation#citizen-engagement).\n* While every effort is made to ensure that the classic Universal Access application uses standard web technologies and formats that are compatible with all browsers, only the listed browsers are officially supported.\n\n|Supported software|Version|Details|\n|------------------|-------|-------|\n|Google Chrome|148 and future minor versions, builds and patches|This browser is supported for both the Universal Access and Case Worker applications. See the [H2 site](http://www.h2database.com/html/main.html) for further information about system requirements, Java support and technical support. |\n\n[Back to Supported software](#supported-software)\n\n### Development Tools\n\nNote that the development of the application is restricted to the Windows platform (Windows 11) and the listed tools have been tested only on that platform.\n\nAlthough technical support is not provided for any Integrated Development Environment (IDE) it should be possible to use any Java® IDE for development. Support for IDEs should be sought from the relevant software vendor. The Eclipse IDE has been tested and it's use is described in the documentation.\n\n|Supported software|Version|Details|\n|------------------|-------|-------|\n|Apache Ant|1.10.15|Please note that only Apache Ant 1.10.15 is supported. The Java versions specified in the table below are certified for this purpose.\n\n|Supported software|Version|Details|\n|------------------|-------|-------|\n|Adoptium Eclipse Temurin|8 and future interim updates and patches|Adoptium Eclipse Temurin Version 8 is available as a free download from the [Adoptium Home Page](https://adoptium.net). |\n|Oracle JDK|8 and future interim updates and patches|Available to download from the [Oracle Java downloads page](https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads). |\n|Microsoft Word|2021 and future maintenance updates|Required for creating and editing Cúram communication documents in Microsoft Word format.|\n|Microsoft Word|2024 and future maintenance updates|Required for creating and editing Cúram communication documents in Microsoft Word format.|\n|Microsoft Word for Microsoft 365 (included in Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise)|Current channel and future updates|Required for creating and editing Cúram communication documents in Microsoft Word format as part of a Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise subscription.|\n\n[Back to Supported software](#supported-software)\n\n### Web Browsers\n\nThe minimum recommended resolution is 1366x768.
